 Every Coincidence is Significant

Audio Stepchild is a hip-hop collective that initially formed in Louisville, Kentucky.  They released their debut (and only) album “Land of the Snake Charmer” over a decade ago through Houston, Texas based record label BCD Music Group, which at the time was co-owned by Suave House Records founder Tony Draper.

Surprisingly, one of the greatest artists of all-time,Prince, showed up on the Audio Stepchild album with the song “When Will We Be Paid?” – - a song originally recorded by The Staple Singers. “Land of the Snake Charmer” also featured platinum producer Joe Traxx and H-Town legend Papa Rue who is known for his work with Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, 8Ball & MJG, Lil Flip, Curren$y, Lil Keke, Juvenile and others.

After a 10 year hiatus, Audio Stepchild is back in business and is gearing up for their new release titled “Every Coincidence is Significant” in early 2012.  No track-listing for this album has surfaced yet, however, Audio Stepchild was most recently featured with the multi-platinum and Grammy-Nominated group Nappy Roots.

Southern California emcee, Kornbread (1/3 of the hit Hip-Hop group, Those Chosen), has released his first solo venture titled “Strays” LP, produced entirely by fellow So Cal native, J. Bizness. This amazing project is a view into the mindset of an individual who chooses to make their own path in life. The decisions that we make determine our progression or regression regardless of other people’s opinions of our circumstances. Strays embodies the trials and triumphs of many aspects of everyday living told from a lyrically insightful point of view. Definitely worth taking a listen to!
